When borrower needs it, they will always hound you like you are a saint. Then after you borrow and ask them to return, they shun you like you are a ghost. The worst is to see them spending on luxury or whatsoever yet not returning to you what they have borrowed.

Exactly! Lesson learnt - I recently saw from a video post in IG on lending money, when one request to borrow, kindly reject by saying I have a no lending policy so as to keep our relationship/friendship. Direct it to "policy" and change the attention back to them by asking them what happened and what got them in whatever situation that they require to borrow.

Some people treat borrowing money like a subscription: they take the benefits, then cancel the payments.
